Problem
Teachers and students needed a secure, LinkedIn-style platform to buy and sell courses, share posts, and interact — with strict role-based permissions and reliable payment processing.
My Role

Built the entire backend in Spring Boot and MySQL, implementing JWT-based authentication and role-based access control across three roles (Admin, Teacher, Student) — e.g. only teachers can list courses for sale, only admins can delete any user, post, or course, and students are restricted to a purchase-only view. Integrated Stripe for course payments, using Stripe webhooks to trigger backend processing on successful purchase and persist the student-course purchase record. Also built a social layer with likes and comments on posts. Modeled all relational data, then built and tested every RESTful endpoint in Postman before wiring up the Angular frontend, applying MVC and OOP throughout to mirror real production architecture.

Problem
Exploring global country data through a public API needed to feel intuitive rather than like a raw data dump

Built a responsive app that consumes the REST Countries API to explore global data by continent, prioritizing intuitive navigation and a genuinely usable interface over a bare API wrapper. Secured the API key server side via a Vercel serverless proxy rather than exposing it client side.
Sabor Kebab
Problem
The restaurant relied on phone calls and handwritten orders, making order management slow, error-prone, and difficult to track. Customers also had no convenient way to browse the menu or place customised orders online.

Designed and developed a production ready restaurant ordering platform using Next.js and Firebase. Implemented a responsive digital menu with category filtering, dynamic product pages, customizable order options, real time Firestore integration and an admin friendly data structure for menu management. Focused heavily on performance, SEO, reusable component architecture and mobile first UX to deliver a fast ordering experience. Deployed the application on Vercel with continuous deployment from GitHub. Currently extending the platform with customer authentication, persistent order history, and personalized user accounts to support repeat customers and future loyalty features.
